The course is designed to provide basic knowledge of the chemical composition as well as cosmetic and medicinal effects of selected plants. It is also intended to provide an understanding of the types of plant raw materials and methods of their processing for the cosmetic industry. In addition, standards for purity and processing conditions of herbal raw materials will be discussed.
