The main aim of the course is to help the students expand their vocabulary and develop a set of essential skills and techniques required for the translation of texts related to science and technology. Upon successful completion of the course, the students should be able to efficiently and correctly translate fairly complex scientific and technical texts of various types.

Celem zajęć jest przekazanie studentom wiedzy leksykalnej z zakresu handlu i ekonomii, wyrobienie umiejętności tłumaczenia ustnego i pisemnego tekstów związanych z tą tematyką, przekazanie wiedzy z zakresu poprawności językowej w języku polskim i angielskim oraz umiejętności wyszukiwania informacji związanych z tłumaczonymi tekstami.

The aim of this course is to equip students with the skills necessary to translate legal texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. This course will enable the students to apply appropriate translation strategies, enhance their understanding of the intricacies of law, and appreciate the differences between common law and civil law.
