✍️ This course is essentially a beginners' guide to creative writing whose main objective is opening students up to venues for creative thought and output. Framed through methods of deconstructing concepts and stories via expansion, contraction, reordering and remediation, the course provides an overview of basic elements in linear story telling, analyzes thematic conceits, and gives students an opportunity to produce a genre bending adaptation and a short creative work of their own.👩🎓
