Course Objectives:
To develop understanding of the relationship between language and the processes of the brain
and mind.

To examine methods used in psycholinguistic research and to interpret the types of results these
methods have uncovered;

Design, conduct and report on an experimental study in M.A. thesis


Student Learning Objectives:


At the end of course, students should be able to:

List major processes involved in language processing and storage in bilingualism and
mutilingualsim;

Describe the methods used to experimentally test hypotheses in psycholinguistics;

Describe theoretical models of lexical organization and processing both in monolingual and
multilingual contexts

Test this hypothesis experimentally and report on the experiment in your M.A. thesis (year 2).
