In the seminar entitled 'The translator in a multimodal world' we will look at the fundamentals of multimodal and film discourse analysis, followed by theoretical and experimental approaches to the main audiovisual translation and media accessibility types: subtitling, dubbing, voice-over, audio description and subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
