  • WA e-Learning Help : Moodle and MS Teams

    • Your two basic IT tools for WA (online) learning and teaching:

      Moodle SNJL* | MS Teams

    • *NOTE: This Moodle SNJL site hosts course pages for classes conducted by the faculties (Pol. "Wydziały") that form the AMU School of Languages and Literatures ("Szkoła Nauk o Języku i Literaturze" [SNJL]), including the Faculty of English ("Wydział Anglistyki").

      If you happen to be a student / teacher (also) of another AMU school or unit, please visit the central AMU Moodle home page ("Platforma E-learningowa UAM") to find your other Moodle(s).

  • 1. WA STUDENTS e-Learning Help

    • First of all:
      • Use AMU Student email (more info: EN | PL) for any correspondence concerning your WA / AMU studies and courses.
      • Note: Not all WA courses have Moodle courses or/and MS Teams groups - contact your class teachers for details.
      • For online meetings, it's best to install the MS Teams desktop application rather than using the internet browser.

          If you cannot find a solution anywhere, describe the problem:

          • MOODLE: in the Discussion forum about Moodle on the Moodle OWKO "Help for Students" page
          • TEAMS: in the Post tab on the General channel of the AMU HelpTEAMS group  (Find and join the group by following these steps: MS Teams > select Teams tab > click Join or create a team  > search help…  > select HelpTEAMS > click Join team)

          If you need immediate assistance (during an online class etc.):

          • from Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm:
            • contact Grzegorz (Greg) Krynicki
              by video call, audio call or text chat on MS Teams at krynicki@amu.edu.pl; follow these steps: MS Teams > select Calls tab (1 in the screenshot below) > in the box Type a name start typing the @amu email of a person you want to call (2) > select that person from the pop-up menu (3) > select the type of call  (CLICK TO SEE HOW)
            • If you and Greg decide that his remote assistance on your computer is necessary, download TeamViewer, run it and pass him Your ID and Password.
